hi! my name is maira (may-ruh) (they/them pronouns) and i'm a zine maker and artist from the bay area. i used to help organize with ebabz and rock paper scissors collective, and i currently work with bay area queer zine fest (which i helped start in 2017).

i love teaching zine making workshops & have taught them places like oakland public library, rps collective, stanford university, alameda county library, CSU east bay, menlo park library, berkeley public library, los angeles public library, and deanza college. i'm very passionate about demystifying the zine making process and helping people get into zines! if you're in need of a zine workshop facilitator, pls hit me up!
